Teacher Training


HeartCore Yoga is a certified Anusara and Yoga Alliance teacher training school.

Anusara Yoga Teacher TrainingThe HeartCore Anusara Yoga Teacher Trainings are taught as intensives, some are broken into sections (see schedule below). Students are expected to complete a minimum of 100 hours in Anusara Immersions before starting the teacher training program.The immersions may be done with any certified Anusara teacher, but if you are working toward a Yoga Alliance certification, the immersions and teacher training need to be done through the same school.

Completion of HeartCore Yoga’s three Immersions and two Teacher Trainings qualify you for the 200 Hour RYT Yoga Alliance teacher certification.

  • Manual Adjustments
  • Therapeutic Adjustments

Teacher Training Two:

  • Refinement of all the above

Teacher Training Three:

  • Refinement of all the above
  • Refinement focus on weaving the theme with Cit Ananda
  • Manual and Therapeutic adjustments
  • Certification process

Prerequisites:
*Completion of 100 hour minimum of Anusara Yoga immersion (or permission from BJ)
*Completed Empowerment Review of Immersion 1, 2, 3
*Acceptance of Application, permission from BJ
*Completion of John Friend Teacher Training Manual (read)
*Completion of Anusara Master Immersion Manual (read)
